InnoStars is a non-profit association dedicated to strengthening health and life sciences innovation capacity in emerging and moderate innovation regions. As a Life Sciences Cluster, it supports regional ecosystems through international collaboration, connecting start-ups, researchers, institutions and public stakeholders with knowledge, partnerships and opportunities that help innovation grow. InnoStars activities spans throughout Europe with local presence in Italy, Italy, Poland and Portugal. Our partners represent industry, academia, hospitals and research centres.

Responsibilities

 

  • Act as the main contact for Italian members and partners, building and maintaining the innovation ecosystem
  • Interact with local and international stakeholders, attract and recruit new members and drive identification of new potential business opportunities
  • Provide dedicated account management, aligning member needs with opportunities and services
  • Deliver innovation advisory support, guiding members on strategy, growth, and positioning
  • Support partners in project development and application processes (EU & other funding)
  • Drive matchmaking and connections across local and international ecosystems
  • Organise and support community and networking activities (events, forums, meetings)
  • Contribute to visibility of partners, projects, and success stories
  • Support and Participate in various Grant Implementation & Project Delivery tasks
  • Together with the team of international ecosystem leads, maintain an up-to-date a knowledge base and local marketing assets about entrepreneurs, start-ups, and other relevant stakeholders to attract future interest in programs and projects of Innostars and its partners

 

Requirements

 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in health sciences, life sciences, biotechnology, business, innovation management, or a related field
  • Experience in entrepreneurship is required, and experience in both the private and public sectors is considered an advantage
  • Experience in public/private partnerships and business modelling is an advantage
  • Experience in working with companies and academic institutions as a key account manager is considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of local healthcare ecosystem, dynamics, and trends
  • An extensive contact network in the regional health and life sciences ecosystem
  • Strong communication and presentation skills both orally and in writing both in English and in Italian
  • Proactive, self-driven, dynamic, and well organised
  • Manage a variety of tasks and projects and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Key-account management attitude and Client-focused way of thinking
  • Highly entrepreneurial attitude
